Trading & Item Exchange
Whatever tradeable items GTA VI Online ends up having — vehicles, gear, cosmetics — players will want a place to arrange in-game exchanges and giveaways. That's what this category is for: trades that happen inside the game, using the game's own systems, for the game's own currency or items.
House rule — read before posting
Zero tolerance: listings offering GTA$ or items for real money, modded money drops, account sales, boosting, or recovery services violate Rockstar's Terms of Service and will never be allowed here. In-game trades only.
What's confirmed
- GTA Online never had a formal player-to-player trading system — "trading" happened informally through gifted rides, shared heist payouts, and community giveaways.
- Rockstar and Take-Two's terms of service prohibit selling in-game money, items, or accounts for real money, and Rockstar has repeatedly banned and reset accounts involved in modded-money schemes.
- Whether GTA VI Online includes any formal trading or gifting system is completely unknown — the mode itself hasn't been announced.
What to expect (informed speculation)
- If a trading or gifting system exists, expect it to be tightly constrained — Rockstar has spent a decade fighting GTA$ sellers and modded drops.
- Community giveaways and in-game barter ("help me with X, I'll help you with Y") will exist regardless of formal systems, because they always do.
